Friends of the Association of Castle Owners

 

What do I have to do to become a member of the Friends of the Association of Castle Owners?

  • Please complete and submit the application form, which can be found on the website here, along with two letters of recommendation by existing members of the Association.
  • Pay an annual fee of 2,000 CZK per person or 3,000 CZK per family (max 2 + 2)

What do I get by joining?

  • Possibility to participate in the events of the Association of Castle Owners throughout the membership period (active calendar year)
  • 50% discount on admission to historic sites belonging to the members of the Association of Castle Owners
  • A badge and a membership card of the Friends of the Association of Castle Owners with its logo
  • An electronic newsletter / Bulletin of the Association of Castle Owners (twice per year)

The membership fee covers one entire program period (the entire calendar year in question).

Upon paying the membership fee and providing the letters of recommendation outlined above, I become a member of the Friends of the Association of Castle Owners and will be informed (via e-mail) about the Association's activities.

In order for a member of the Friends of the Association of Castle Owners to participate in the Association's events, he/she may be required to cover additional admission fees for individual events when and if necessary.

Membership for subsequent periods is not automatically renewable. The Association shall send payment reminders to Friends ahead of the next season's commencement.

The Friends of the Association of Castle Owners reserves all rights to alter the program's terms and conditions as necessary.

By filling in and by signing this document I give my consent to Asociace majitelů hradů a zámků, Korunní 73, 130 00 Praha 3, Prague 1, for the processing of personal data with regards to the undersigned document in accordance with Act Nr. 101/2000 Sb regarding protection of personal data, for statistical and security purposes for the period until expiration of this consent. I am aware of my rights according to Law §11, 21, in that providing data is voluntary and that I may revoke my consent at any time with no obligation and in writing to the administrator, and that I have the right to access, amend, dispose of and block the personal data submitted. In case of queries regarding administrator rights, I may contact the Administrator directly or the Personal Data Protection Authority based in Pplk. Sochora 27, Prague 7.

“Our History / Your Heritage; – Days of private castles and historic houses“

This event is organized under the auspices of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 and is part of the Europe-wide initiative of the European Historic Houses Association.

Strahov Monastery

Prague-Hradčany

A guided tour of the Strahov Monastery

Libor Šturc, curator of the Strahov collections, will show you around The Premonstratensian Strahov Monastery in Prague.

The tour will take guests to the monastery’s picture gallery, followed by a short concert at the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and on to a private tour of the Theological and Philosophical Hall of the Strahov Library and the monastery’s brewery.

Admission fee to be determined closer to date.
